Although it is a quiet season for Twinning activities, here is one date which you may want to get in your diary:

Evening Ramble
Although such an event was arranged earlier this year, it had to be cancelled due to bad weather. Julia Masdin has kindly re-convened it for:

Sunday 23 September
departing by car at 2.45pm prompt from the Crown.

An experienced leader with take the party on a walk in the Chew Valley/Compton Dando area. It will last for about 2 hours & the party will gather afterwards at a suitable pub for supper/drinks as desired.

[Historical Note: Unfortunately this event was cancelled after this newsletter was sent out, because the person who was to lead the walk was indisposed. It is hoped to re-schedule the walk sometime in the new year.]

Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting of the Association will be held in the Rugby Club in early November. I will provide details once it is fixed.

We will endeavour to arrange a social occasion in the Autumn to get everyone together. Watch this space!
