JUNE 2007

The July Visit - English Gardens Weekend
The arrangements for the reception of our French guests have now been completed. All 29 guests have been allocated to host accommodation. Hosts will receive separate details of booking arrangements if they wish to join their guest(s) on garden visits or other entertainment. The purpose of this newsletter is to inform all other interested members of what is happening and which parts of the programme they can take part in if they so wish.

There will be about 20 spare seats on the French coach for each garden visit. Twinning Association Members will be welcome to use these places (£3.50 per head per trip) but they will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, so get your booking in early! Once the coach is full, it will still be possible to take your own car.

Entry fees for the French will have been collected in advance & you will be asked to pay on booking. This will give you the benefit of any group rates. Some of the properties are National Trust, so if you are a member, remember to take your Membership Tickets!

Please note that, with the exception of the arrival, the pick up and return point of the coach in Bathford will be opposite the Crown Inn.

Hosts please remember that there will be a Hosts Briefing Meeting on Tuesday 19 June at 8.00pm in the Primary School.
